The topic was about industrial revolution. Mohamed introduced the topic, but it wasn’t that good because he didn’t mention all the main points that they were going to talk about; he just gave us a background of the industrial revolution as an introduction. Mohamed had good eye contact with the audience, as Ahmed did. Mohamed was standing to the right of the screen and at the same time Ahmed was standing to the left of the screen. Both of them weren’t using note cards, and this is an advantage for them as they could remember all the points that they were talking about. Both of them were speaking in a clear and a loud voice with nice smiles and good confidence. Ahmed had many hand gestures while he was talking, so he could put across the information to the audience clearly. Mohamed always started the new points and then Ahmed completed the idea.
About the power point, the slides background was simple and clear. They didn’t put any notes on the slides, only a title and a picture for every slide, which were seven slides. So they didn’t depend a lot on the power point, and I think that it is a bad thing on a presentation.
Finally, I think the presentation was very good in general, because of the new information we learnt. One of the important things is that both of the students were sharing all the points, which meant they were working together in all the main points. After the presentation they answered all the questions that they were asked.
